The history of Enshin Karate in Virginia goes back to the year 1997. As an official representative Sensei Nima Mazhari began familiarizing people of the east coast to this style of Martial Arts.
Sensei Mazhari with nineteen years of experience in teaching martial arts is a successful and well known fighter of the world Sabaki challenge tournaments of 1996-2000. He won the "Sabaki Spirit" prize of 1996. He has participated in the world Kyokushin karate championship in New York City for three consecutive years and also world Ashihara karate championship in Denmark. He fought Glaube Feitosa from Brazil who has recently entered the K1 competition scene. This close match dragged onto two overtimes.
When we started Enshin Karate in 1998 nobody at that time thought that Enshin Karate would become that popular in Virginia. Our adult classes attracted so many people that some days we ran short of physical space to train. This is, for sure, due to the effectiveness of this style of Karate as well as the quality of instruction under an instructor authorized by the world Enshin Karate Organisation. Enshin Karate of Virginia has sucessfully trained students whom have gone on to win the All-Japan Sabaki challenge championship.
Enshin Karate does not only stress on the development of the spirit and physical capability of the student but the mental aspect to build character in all ages especially in children. The warm, friendly atmosphere of our dojos encourage our students to recommend our services to others. The Enshin family is constantly expanding and even attracting black belts and instructors from other styles to learn this effective method.
We would like to invite you to be our guest in experiencing all that this martial art has to offer.
We would like to thank the following Enshin instructors for helping to promote this style in the state of Virginia: Anatoly Polyakov, Ruby Loutfi, Nick Richards, Rachelle Pascua, Stephanie Lazo and Nick Shukla.
Osu!
